Services/Products

CoinsBank offers a number of services. They have a mobile app, wallets, cards, an exchange, and merchant service.

The electronic wallet facilitates the instant transfer of cryptocurrency or fiat into any denomination. The wallet supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin. You can also do bank transfers. The wallet supports smart payment systems such as OKPay, Perfect Money, EPay and Qiwi. Currently, CoinsBank works with the following fiat currencies:

  • U.S. Dollars (USD)
  • Euros (EUR)
  • British Pounds (GBP)

CoinsBank offers six different Bitcoin debit cards and all these cards can be used to make purchases in both fiat and cryptocurrency forms.

The exchange section can be used by beginners and experienced traders. This is a licensed exchange where all orders are conveniently managed and data is exchanged in real-time. There are resourceful tools to help users make more informed decisions.

If you are a business person then the merchant service should come in handy. CoinsBank wants to help you out with your Bitcoin transactions. The aim is to open up a market since buyers have more places to use their crypto.

Lastly, there is a mobile app which you can use to monitor your accounts, make payments, manage cards and do conversations. This application is available on Android and Apple devices.

Fees/Pricing

The fees that users can pay depends on the type of card that they have. The no-name card costs $14.95 while the named card is $9.95. The monthly maintenance fee is $ 1.95 and if your card has been inactive for a year then it will accrue $4.95 every month.

ATM withdrawals cost $4.95 but the rate goes up if you use the named limited card. This one will cost you $9.95 at the ATM. When you use your named card at a point of sale then you will pay zero fees but purchase with the same card attracts $0.95 per transaction. The named white card costs $99.95 which is really high. But when you are shopping, you do not pay any fees. ATM withdrawal will cost $3.95  and attracts a 2.95% conversion rate.

Then there are the virtual cards. These are charged according to their validity period.

User Experience

This platform already has a strong social media presence that users can get to whenever they need updates or assistance. The site is also user-friendly and easy to navigate. The exchange prices are clearly seen on the top and they are all in real-time. A ticket system is also at hand in case there is an issue. Users are nothing short of happy with the services rendered.

Overall Conclusion

This is one of the most reliable debit card services today and every service offered is comprehensive. They also permit the use of a wide range of cryptocurrencies. The unfortunate thing is that users in the United States have limited uses. This affects their card options and even pricing schedule.

Pros

  • Comprehensive cryptocurrency service
  • Exchange, Bitcoin card and wallet
  • Many cryptocurrencies are supported

Cons

  • Free shipping is only for premium account holders
  • It is still not  very clear who owns the platform
  • High fees for some ATM withdrawals
